This race of fibrillic based robots (affectionately called 'The Can-Opener People") is held enthralled by the digital offerings of the MCU (Master Control Unit). The Republic desires to establish itself as a multi-species democracy and so has offered ROC citizenship to any AIS citizens who wish to live within the Draconian Cluster. However the MCU forbids this, it wishes to keep all fibrillics enslaved. Once again, concepts of nationality and race are hopelessly tangled. DDR
The so-called 'Dark Dominium'. A Nexus based government that use a seditious colony on the planet Geeche as an excuse to invaded the Republic. After their unfortunate allies on Geeche had been almost completely eliminated, the DDR abandoned them and sued for peace and safe passage out of the Republic. The DDR have several advanced technologies, including Space Stations, Carrier specialization, Colony force field complexes and the dreaded Morgatron (a large living tank). Back to top

FET
In addition to being drug dealers, pimps, and trafficking in human babies, the FET assisted the Empire in defeating the Detinus Rebellion in 136. A fact which has embarrassed this sad affiliation ever since. The only good thing that can be said about the thugs and criminals in the FET is that they make the SSL look like choirboys. Back to top

FOE
This race of demons is from another dimension and is an anathema to all sentient life. Its endemic and unashamed practice of slavery, sacrifice and unspeakable torture is utterly inimical to everything the Republic stands for. They are the only affiliation banned from orbiting worlds within the Republic. Foelians, individually, and as a race, are power hungry, greedy, and sadistic.

The Imperial services originated in the Inner Empire and have now expanded their rule to the Capellan Periphery. The men and women who serve in the Imperial Services are highly competent and professional and are greatly respected within the Republic. After IMP vessels suffered many tragic losses fighting alongside the ROC Space Force defending the Republic from the Geeche terrorists an alliance of blood was forged between the two nations.
Unfortunately the politicians who govern the Capellan Periphery are, without exception, tyrants, degenerates and thugs, and the Republic must always be wary lest their greed and expansionist tendencies lead them to covet our beloved Nation. The citizens of the Stellar Empire suffer in tyranny and despotism, and the forces of the Imperial Navy enforce their savage justice and are, in effect, an occupying army.
The Republic of Corona began its life as a resistance movement within the Inner Empire. Many past and present leaders of the Republic suffered torture, and worst, at the hands of Jasil's henchmen. The tendency towards secrecy and the ever-present vigilance of the present day Republic dates from this dark time. We do not know why Jasil sanctioned the establishment of the ROC within the Draconian Cluster, perhaps it was an experiment in democracy, perhaps an effort to rid the Empire of its internal enemies, nevertheless, it was by Imperial edict that the Republic of Corona was established. A group of Samillians long separated from the Hivemind and who have struggled heroically through the eons to develop a sense of their own individuality. They specialize in ground combat. A Kazereckii colony has been established within the Republic, and its denizens are loyal Citizens who work hard to strengthen the Republic and preserve her freedom and security. Back to top
This race of furry humanoids are good friends of the Republic. Their one-time leader, Speaker Cascade, donated several Myrships to the Republic and these vessels played a significant role during the early development of our blessed Republic. Back to top
RIP
A pathetic group of terrorists who aim to re-establish a ruling chamber of aristocrats within the Stellar Empire. They have nothing to offer the average honest citizen. Chased from all other regions of space, they began raiding Republican shipping, with spectacular success, causing much embarrassment and humiliation to our beloved Republic. The Space Force responded vigorously to the RIP depredations, destroying many RIP vessels, and cleansing their den of filth, RIP Crooked Castle. For now the Republic’s skies are cleansed of these terrorists. Back to top
An insectoid hivemind species (typical of those found in the transhole). Republican scientists cannot determine if the Hivemind enslaves this race, or if it is the ultimate form of democracy. Debate also rages concerning whether Samillian Workers could participate in democratic elections, or whether their vote would be dictated to them by the so-called 'Hivemind'. Some theorists postulate that the so-called 'Hivemind' is an alien entity that has enslaved the entire species. Like most alien species they have not developed the sophistication to differentiate between 'race' and 'government'. Biology, politics and culture are hopelessly intertwined. It would require evolutionary time periods to develop beyond this stage (as demonstrate by the Kazereckii (KZK)). Inspite of their professed love for the 'Hivemind', the ruling elite (termed 'Drones') sometimes claim that the 'Hivemind' is insane and can therefore be ignored. Samillians are a fascinating and complex race whose culture and biology are worthy of further study. Back to top

The Stellar Trading Corp. An Imperial spy organization that monitors all financial transactions. Every RPS you buy, every vial of grass juice, every little peccadillo is recorded in the extensive files of the STC. Even though the Inner Empire has fallen into decay, the STC continues its evil work, but now without even the semblance of control or accountability. They are the sworn enemy of the People, but are too powerful for even the Republic's Senate to move against. Back to top
The USS operates under several charters. USS vessels and colonies within our thrice-blessed Republic operate under a ROC charter. They have large presence within the Republic. They are loyal citizens of the Republic and work hard to protect our freedom and security against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Back to top
A anti-individualistic transhole affiliation, typical of the affiliations found beyond the blackhole. The Republic has established cordial relations with the WCE, although we have had to punish them once when they violated their colonization agreement. They were suitable chastened and will certainly not repeat that mistake again. Back to top
All advancement of Zolmani society was stopped 60 generations ago when the Progressives were defeated by the unnatural weapons of the Geneticists. Now the so-called 'Grey Princes' rule absolutely, and use the psychological powers of the Scribe caste to keep the majority of their species (demeaningly referred to as 'Workers') enslaved. Of course, absolute power corrupts absolutely, and the Grey Princes have lost their souls to the demon of materialism. All that matters to them is Stellars and profit. Their personal and cultural morals are straight from the gutter. We are very proud that Republican vessel are banned from ZCS space.
